The start-up eco.mio, founded by Katharina Riederer, Mario Blatter and Sarah Benarey, has completed a low seven-figure seed financing round. The aim is to expand outside Germany and diversify the product range. The financing is led by IBB Ventures, identity.vc and the Hans(wo)men Group, supported by N&V Capital, Partners in Clime, Robert Jacobi, Alfred Luger, Volker Rofalski, Patrick Diemer, Lea-Sophie Cramer and Nicole Büttner.
eco.mio is leading the transformation of the business travel world with a pioneering approach. By integrating modern technologies and sustainability strategies into the traditional booking systems of large companies such as Cytric and SAP Concur, the startup has expanded its user base to 40,000 and has already reduced its customers’ CO2 emissions by 26%.
honert had already advised the start-up on its foundation in 2021 and on a previous financing round.
