Dr. Malte Drews
Malte Drews advises medium-sized corporations and partnerships, as well as their governing bodies and shareholders/partners, in all business law matters. His practice focuses in particular on supporting corporate transactions and advising startups and investors in connection with venture capital transactions. In addition, Malte Drews serves as an examiner in all matters of banking and capital markets law at Christian-Albrechts University in Kiel.
Irina Eppenstein
Irina Eppenstein advises on the structuring of articles of association, shareholder agreements, management and employee participation plans, M&A agreements, domestic and cross-border joint ventures, as well as on the drafting of business contracts, in particular general terms and conditions (B2B/B2C), cooperation agreements, and supplier contracts. In the event of disputes, she represents the interests of clients in court and arbitration proceedings. Another focus of her practice is advising sustainably operating companies, in particular impact startups, i.e., companies focused on the circular economy and responsible corporate governance. Her approach combines legal expertise in matters of commercial and corporate law with strategic project management, enabling her to handle business law matters efficiently, transparently, and in a goal-oriented manner.

Christina Frigger advises family business and high-net-worth individuals in all legal matters related to asset structuring or succession planning.
Dr. Arne Hansen, LL.M. (Wellington)
Arne Hansen assists companies with domestic and cross-border M&A transactions. In addition, he advises startups and investors on venture capital financing. Another key focus of his practice is advising companies, business owners, and managers in all matters of corporate law. This also includes litigation in corporate and commercial law disputes. In addition, Arne Hansen advises companies in labor and employment law matters, in particular the implementation of restructurings and in connection with M&A transactions.
Dr. Jan-Christian Heins
Jan-Christian Heins advises medium-sized companies, family businesses, business angels, and startups on corporate transactions, joint ventures, and venture capital transactions. In the M&A area, Jan-Christian Heins regularly assists medium-sized companies in particular with their expansion into international markets through the acquisition or incorporation of foreign companies, often in the form of joint ventures with local partners. Another focus is advising companies, business owners, and managers in all matters of corporate law as well as restructurings, in particular in crisis situations. Prior to joining honert, Jan-Christian Heins worked in the corporate practice group of the international law firm Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer. He lives in Hamburg with his wife and two sons.
Dr. Adrian Heuzeroth
Adrian Heuzeroth advises medium-sized companies, as well as their governing bodies and shareholders, in all matters of business and corporate law. Florian Leßniak
Florian Leßniak advises medium-sized companies on domestic and cross-border corporate transactions as well as on the formation of joint ventures in Germany and abroad. Another focus of his practice is advising startups and investors in connection with venture capital transactions. In addition, he advises companies in all matters of corporate and partnership law as well as on restructurings. Prior to joining honert, Florian Leßniak worked in the corporate/M&A practice group of the international law firm Milbank, Tweed, Hadley & McCloy. He lives in Hamburg with his wife and two children.
Dr. Claudius Mann
Claudius Mann advises medium-sized companies in all matters of labor and employment law (in particular in connection with restructurings and transactions). Other key areas of his practice include commercial and corporate law as well as general business law. In all areas of his practice, he also represents clients in court and arbitration proceedings. Prior to founding honert’s Hamburg office in 2006, he had practiced in the same areas of law at Lebuhn & Puchta in Hamburg since 1992.
Nick Miller
Nick Miller advises medium-sized corporations and partnerships, as well as their governing bodies and shareholders/partners, in all matters of business and corporate law. In this capacity, he supports clients in particular in corporate transactions. Another focus of his practice is advising clients on estate planning.
Sebastian Schleehauf
Key matters of his practice include advising on corporate transactions (M&A), corporate financing (venture capital and private equity), and the structuring of business succession. He advises in particular medium-sized corporations and partnerships—both at the national and international levels. Projects have included business startups, corporate acquisitions (share deals and asset deals), financing rounds, restructurings, and joint ventures, as well as related issues involving capital markets law.

Timo Senger advises medium-sized corporations and partnerships, as well as their governing bodies and shareholders/partners/partners, in all business law matters, with a particular focus on commercial and corporate law. His practice also focuses on advising clients on corporate transactions and structuring business and estate succession.
Dr. Peter Slabschi, LL.M. (London)
Peter Slabschi views himself as a traditional advisor to companies, family businesses, and their shareholders. He believes that stable client relationships based on mutual trust provide significant added value. He has many years of M&A experience, both in domestic and cross-border transactions. Another focus of his practice is advising clients during times of change, in particular restructuring and succession planning. Peter Slabschi is committed to understanding his clients’ business objectives and pursuing them with negotiation skills and conflict resolution expertise. If and when necessary—and only then—he does not hesitate to initiate litigation. Peter Slabschi is married and the father of three daughters.
Dr. Franziska Strobel, LL.M. (LSE)
Franziska Strobel primarily advises medium-sized and larger corporations and partnerships, as well as startups and investors, in connection with corporate and venture capital transactions. In addition, she advises in matters of corporate law and on issues of general business law, including the drafting and negotiation of contracts and litigation. As part of her dissertation, Franziska Strobel conducted extensive research on issues of private international law.
Dr. Anja Wiedemann
Anja Wiedemann provides a full range of advisory services to corporations and partnerships, as well as their shareholders, counseling clients in all matters of corporate law. She supports clients in particular with domestic and cross-border corporate transactions, the formation of joint ventures, and reorganization and restructuring measures. Her practice also includes advising startups and investors in the venture capital sector. In addition, she provides ongoing corporate law advice. Prior to joining honert, Anja Wiedemann worked in the corporate law/M&A practice groups of the law firm CMS Hasche Sigle in Hamburg and another of major Hamburg law firm.
Dr. Jörn-Ahrend Witt
Jörn-Ahrend Witt advises founders, entrepreneurs, investors, as well as companies and groups of companies from Germany and abroad. He advises on all aspects of corporate law, in particular on restructurings and corporate disputes. In addition, Jörn-Ahrend Witt advises on business succession, the acquisition and disposal of companies and shareholdings, and the establishment of joint ventures as well as company-related commercial contractual matters in connection therewith. Before joining honert, Jörn-Ahrend Witt worked at Hengeler Mueller in Dusseldorf and Frankfurt, and at Macfarlanes LLP in London, in the fields of corporate law, M&A and private equity. Jörn-Ahrend Witt is married and has two children.

Working closely with clients, he develops tailored strategies for successful asset transfers. With expertise in tax, corporate, and estate law, the interdisciplinary focus of our firm allows for a holistic advisory approach, ranging from contract drafting (including gift and inheritance agreements) to implementation in compliance with German procedural laws (including inheritance and gift tax returns and asset valuations in accordance with the German Valuation Act).

Susanne Labus

Susanne Labus was a long-standing member of the examination board for tax advisors at the Munich Chamber of Tax Advisors and taught courses on reorganization tax and real estate transfer tax in preparation for the tax advisor board examination.
Tobias Lämmle

Dr. Jochen Neumayer
His practice focuses on advising clients in matters of corporate and tax law, restructurings (mergers, demergers, reorganizations, and asset transfers), M&A transactions, management and employee participation plans, and business and estate succession. Jochen Neumayer regularly publishes professional journal articles on corporate and tax law issues. He is a co-author of the Handbook of German Limited Liability Companies (published by Dr. Otto Schmidt) and a highly sought after speaker on corporate and tax law. He is also a lecturer at the Law School of the University of Bayreuth, specializing in business succession. Jochen Neumayer is married and has three children.

Dr. Jörg Schwichtenberg
Jörg Schwichtenberg represents clients in complex litigation and arbitration proceedings involving issues of corporate or business law, in particular in shareholder disputes, actions to set aside shareholder resolutions, post-M&A disputes, matters involving the personal liability of managing directors, board members, or supervisory board members (including in connection with insolvency law), as well as matters of general commercial law.
