A honert team consisting of Dr. Kai-Klemens Wehlage, Judith Kutter and Veronika Nößner provided comprehensive legal advice to Matchory GmbH on its seed-extension financing round.

The Ulm-based company Matchory has developed an AI-based sourcing platform that collects relevant supplier information along the entire supply chain and provides centralized access for buyers. The database, which currently has over 14 million supplier profiles – covering more than 98% of the relevant manufacturers on the global market, according to the company – is already being used by numerous well-known companies, including Bosch, DMG Mori, Jungheinrich and Tesa.

The financing round was led by the investor Capmont, accompanied by the previous investor Earlybird-X as well as private investors from the fields of industry and procurement.

Matchory GmbH intends to use the new investment to further develop its Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) solution, integrate additional data sources and offer new functions.
