A team from honert has provided legal advice to NanoTemper Technologies GmbH on the acquisition of shares in the Swedish start-up Envue Technologies.

NanoTemper Technologies is an innovative biotech company that develops instruments and software solutions for biophysical characterization to simplify complex scientific processes and enable research and biopharma teams to make faster, more reliable decisions. Since its founding in 2008, NanoTemper has been supporting leading pharmaceutical, biotech, and research institutions worldwide in the development and creation of new therapies – from discovery to release.

The Swedish start-up Envue Technologies develops nanofluidic technologies for label-free analysis of individual biomolecules. With its core innovation, Nanofluidic Scattering Microscopy (NSM), the company enables real-time visualization and characterization of proteins and other molecules under native conditions, providing high-resolution insights into their physical properties and interactions.

The acquisition represents a significant strategic milestone for Nanotemper: By integrating Envue’s label-free single-molecule NSM technology into its existing portfolio of spectral shift technology, NanoTemper is strengthening its position as a leading provider of innovative analytical methods in biophysical research. In view of increasingly complex drug development, the combination of both technologies opens up new opportunities for researchers to understand molecular processes more precisely in early stages of development, reducing uncertainties and accelerating the development of novel therapeutics in the long term.
