honert advises Müller Verwaltung GmbH on the acquisition of shares in HanseYachts AG

PRESS RELEASE

Munich, 14 July 2025

A team from honert has provided comprehensive legal advice to Müller Verwaltung GmbH on the acquisition of shares in HanseYachts AG.

Since July 4, Andreas Müller, together with CEO Hanjo Runde, has been the new majority shareholder of the internationally active yacht builder. The two have taken over the shares previously held by AURELIUS.
Founded in Greifswald in 1990, HanseYachts AG is one of the world’s leading manufacturers in the sailing and motor yacht segment with six premium brands. With the Hanse, Dehler and Moody brands in the sailing segment and Fjord, Sealine and Ryck in the motor yacht segment, the company is established globally as the second largest sailing yacht manufacturer and serves a discerning, international clientele.

The acquisition marks the beginning of a new chapter in the company’s history. The aim of the transaction is to consistently drive forward the strategic development of HanseYachts AG and at the same time secure the long-term financing of the company.

The investment is being made by Müller Verwaltung GmbH, the Austrian-based family office of German entrepreneur Andreas Müller, in partnership with Hanjo Runde, who has been CEO since 2021. Together, they are taking on the entrepreneurial responsibility to further expand HanseYachts’ strong brand portfolio and sustainably strengthen the company’s position as an innovation leader in the yachting industry.

Advisors to Müller Verwaltung GmbH:

honert (Munich): Dr. Kai-Klemens Wehlage and Judith Kutter (both leading), Susanne Labus (tax), Dr. Jörg Schwichtenberg (stock corporation law), Johanna Schöbener (M&A)
