honert advised enventa Group, a provider of business software for enterprise resource planning (“ERP”), business intelligence (“BI”), treasury management and accounting, and Main Capital Partners (“Main”) on the acquisition of ERP Novum GmbH.

The acquisition of ERP Novum represents the fourth acquisition since the start of the strategic partnership with Main Capital Partners (“Main”) in 2022. The acquisition of ERP Novum is a decisive step in the enventa Group’s mission to create an integrated suite of enterprise software that offers its customers an even more comprehensive solution package. In addition, the Group is expanding its presence in the packaging and e-commerce sector, taking an important step towards further establishing itself as a holistic ERP provider for various industries in the German-speaking SME sector.

With the acquisition of ERP Novum, enventa expands its vertical focus and thus achieves an advantageous extension of its reach with high cross-sell and up-sell potential at the same time. ERP Novum has developed its own modules based on enventa’s ERP offering for technical retail solutions, resulting in a strong fit not only from a functional but also from a technological perspective.
