A team from honert provided comprehensive legal and tax advice to the shareholders of PHÖNIX MAXPOOL on the transfer of company shares to blau direkt.
PHÖNIX MAXPOOL Gruppe AG brings together long-established financial and insurance service providers under one roof. These include the PHÖNIX companies, founded in 1916, which focus on occupational pension management, and MAXPOOL Maklerkooperation GmbH, one of the leading broker pools in Germany with around 7,000 partners. The group offers comprehensive services for insurance brokers and their customers – from insurance solutions and real estate financing to investment offers. The portfolio is complemented by PHÖNIX Schutzgemeinschaft Assekuradeur GmbH’s own insurance products.
The Lübeck-based company blau direkt is one of the leading technology providers for insurance and financial investment brokerage. For over 25 years, the company has been developing digital solutions aimed at simplifying complex processes and increasing the efficiency of brokerage firms. blau direkt’s cloud-based platform is one of the most powerful systems on the market and supports brokers in both the administration and advising of their customers.
As part of the merger, Oliver Drewes will be joining the management board of blau direkt in addition to his role as CEO of PHÖNIX MAXPOOL Gruppe AG and will be responsible for the sales activities of both companies in the future. This will consolidate the close cooperation at management level and strengthen the partnership in the long term. MAXPOOL will remain an independent brand with its proven team and clear identity – both partners will continue on their growth.
