A team from honert has provided comprehensive legal and tax advice to the shareholders of intensivLeben GmbH and AP-Sachsen GmbH on the sale of company shares to VitalAire GmbH.

intensivLeben GmbH, based in Burkhardtsdorf and founded in 2011, and AP-Sachsen, headquartered in Radeberg and founded in 2014, offer their patients comprehensive 24-hour care in the field of outpatient intensive care. As part of home ventilation, patients are individually cared for in outpatient residential groups. At a total of nine locations in Saxony, a team of over 100 qualified employees guarantees medical and nursing care at the highest professional level with an excellent reputation for both facilities in the region.

VitalAire is one of the leading home healthcare providers in Germany. The company offers holistic care solutions for home therapy and non-clinical intensive care and supports patients in continuing specialist treatment independently and successfully at home. With state-of-the-art medical technology and qualified nursing care, VitalAire enables patient-oriented and efficient care – the company currently looks after over 220,000 people throughout Germany.

Ms. Wieberneit and Mr. Kischkewitz will remain on the management board and pursue the goal of continuing the successful development of intensivLeben GmbH and AP-Sachsen GmbH with the proven range of services and high quality of care. In the course of the merger with VitalAire GmbH, the managing partners expect the joint market position in Saxony to be strengthened – in particular through the combination of regional presence and professional expertise of both partners in the field of outpatient intensive care.
