GWP is a full-service materials engineering provider of failure analysis and chemical analysis primarily for the manufacturing industry to assure the quality of products and processes with nearly 50 years of experience and more than 3,000 metals and plastics processing customers. The more than 20,000 reports produced by GWP cover the most important specialist areas of metals, plastics, composites, inorganics and explosives. Accreditation to DIN EN ISO 17025 ensures the highest quality for customers. GWP uses recognized methods such as computer tomography, metallography, hardness testing, tensile testing, color fastness testing and catalysis for testing procedures at its facilities in Zorneding near Munich, Leipzig and Saarland. GWP forms a central pillar of the CERTANIA Group in the field of materials testing in the industrial environment.

Both sides have agreed not to disclose details of the transactions.
