honert advised the CERTANIA Group on the acquisition of SpineServ GmbH & Co. KG.

Established in 2007 and headquartered in Ulm, Germany, SpineServ has emerged as an expert and trusted partner in various industries for spinal implants, endoprostheses, trauma implants, dental implants, and other medical devices such as connectors, syringes, injection devices and catheters. The company’s core competencies lie in offering accredited and self-developed mechanical testing and engineering services, ensuring quality, safety, reliability, and innovation to its clientele. SpineServ achieved its first accreditation as a testing laboratory in accordance with DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025 in 2008. Continuous renewal and extension of the scope of DAkkS accredited testing procedures for an increasing variety of medical devices solidified its commitment to excellence and compliance with international standards.

Both parties have agreed not to disclose details of the transactions.
