Haven Cyber Technologies (Haven) has acquired 100 % of the shares in the Swedish company Onevinn AB from the main shareholder VinnGroup and the founders of the company. Onevinn AB is the leading Swedish provider of Microsoft Cloud Security services and solutions. The acquisition reflects Haven’s continued focus on strengthening its solutions, products and consulting capabilities and makes Haven a leading European Managed Security Service Provider (MSSP). Onevinn offers security solutions for both the Cloud and the wirelessly networked world.
Haven, headquartered in Luxembourg, is indirectly held by a fund which is managed by the venture capital firm C5 Capital. Haven is one of the fastest growing MSSPs in Europe. By acquiring Onevinn, which specializes in Cloud Security Services in Microsoft Azure, the Haven Group will expand its product and service offering.
The acquisition of Onevinn, a Microsoft elite partner, follows the acquisition of ITC Secure and underscores Haven’s ambition to become the leading European provider of Managed Security Solutions. The Onevinn founders were granted the opportunity to re-invest in the acquiring company Haven, just as was the case with the founders of ITC in the acquisition of ITC.
The common goal of the operating companies of the Haven Group – ITC Secure and Onevinn – is to offer customers outstanding products and services in the area of cyber security. Haven will therefore develop a joint range of products and services.
In 2018, Haven also supported ITC Secure’s acquisition of G3 Cyber Consulting in London and SBD Advisors in Washington D.C. Both acquisitions contributed significantly to the rapid growth of ITC Secure in 2018. ITC Secure was thus able to achieve revenue growth of more than 50 % in 2018.
Haven’s Executive Board includes, inter alia, Olivier Weddrien as Executive Chairman (former CEO of DZ Equity Partner in Germany), Christoph von Falck (former head of Strategic Asset Management for Airbus Defence & Space), André Pienaar (founder of C5 Capital), Sir Mick Davis (former CEO of Xstrata plc) and Mike Garland (former partner of Permira).
