honert has advised the shareholders of Hasenkopf Industries Manufaktur GmbH & Co. KG on the sale of all shares in Hasenkopf Industrie Manufaktur GmbH & Co. KG to a fund managed by the Hamburg-based company BPE Unternehmensbeteiligungen.

Until the sale, Hasenkopf Industrie Manufaktur GmbH & Co. KG, based in Mehring in Upper Bavaria, was an owner-managed, internationally active family business with over 200 employees. Besides exclusive individual items, Hasenkopf Industrie Manufaktur GmbH & Co. KG produces wash basins and shower trays as well as (bathroom) furniture including the corresponding fronts. In addition, Hasenkopf Industrie Manufaktur is specialised in the production of high-quality mineral and acrylic materials. The former majority shareholder Mr. Roland Hasenkopf will continue to work for the company in a management function.

honert advised the sellers on all aspects of the transaction, including tax issues.

Both parties have agreed not to disclose the purchase price. The transaction was completed at the end of March 2019.
