The Massenberg Group, a portfolio company of DPE Deutsche Private Equity (“DPE”), has acquired the French company Aéro Solutions SAS (“Aéro Solutions”). The seller of the shares of Aéro Solutions was its founder and CEO, Sebastian Thielkes, who will continue to manage the business of the company. The parties have agreed not to disclose the details of the transaction.
Founded in 2013, Aéro Solutions is one of the leading specialist companies in Europe for high-level maintenance work on cooling towers in the energy and industrial sectors, employing approximately 30 people.

Massenberg and Aéro Solutions, both industry leading experts in their market segments, complement each other perfectly with their services: With the second acquisition within a year, the Massenberg Group is expanding its service portfolio of building maintenance by complementing the repair of natural draught and cellular cooling towers, thus offering its customers in Germany and France even more expertise from a single source. As a result of the transaction the Massenberg Group grows to more than 450 employees at 15 locations in three countries and remains on expansion course.

In June 2019, DPE acquired a stake in Massenberg together with Heiner Stahl, CEO of the Massenberg Group.

DPE is a growth investor focused on medium-sized companies, investing in companies in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
