honert advised the CERTANIA Group on the acquisition of MPR China Certification GmbH.

Established in 2005, MPR has garnered acclaim for its expertise in providing certification services, conformity assessment, inspections, and product testing services essential for accessing markets in China, India, Korea, and Japan. With a strong foothold in the automotive industry and a diverse clientele spanning electronics, machinery, steel, food, and other sectors, MPR has become a trusted partner for companies seeking regulatory compliance and conformity services. This includes e.g. CCC certification for accessing the Chinese market, BIS certification for India and KC certification for Korea. MPR covers the US market with its subsidiary China Certification Corporation in Chicago.

Both parties have agreed not to disclose details of the transactions.
