A honert team has provided comprehensive tax advice to the shareholder of the fuma-Bautec Group on the transfer of shares to LATICRETE International Inc.

Under Michael Demeter’s management, fuma-Bautec GmbH & Co. KG, based in Lüdinghausen/NRW, has established itself as one of the leading German profile manufacturers for tile supplies. The company specializes in the development, production and distribution of construction elements in this field.

As of January 1, 2025, Michael Demeter, shareholder and managing director of the fuma-Bautec Group, has sold a majority shareholding to LATICRETE International, Inc. The partnership with the American family-owned company – a manufacturer of globally trusted construction solutions for the construction industry – aims to expand global capacities in the development of profiles and technical systems.

However, fuma-Bautec will continue to operate and expand under the leadership of Michael Demeter, maintaining its strong brand identity and commitment to innovation, so the combined strengths can be leveraged to accelerate development and drive market leadership in each region.
