Under the lead of Dr. Kai-Klemens Wehlage, honert provided legal advice to the lead investor ATHOS in the Series A financing round in Bactolife A/S.

Other investors in the Series A financing round included the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and existing investors such as Novo Holdings. The eight-figure volume makes the Series A financing round one of the largest in the bioindustry in Europe.

The newly raised capital will be used by Bactolife to bring the most advanced projects to the market and to expand scaling opportunities. By continuing on this path in its pioneering role, the company aims to fully realize the potential for positive change in human and animal health through its target-specific binding proteins.

On the part of Bactolife, one is very pleased about the continued faith of investors even in times of geopolitical uncertainties and market turbulences.
