honert provided comprehensive legal and tax advice to the founders of SETEX Schermuly textile computer GmbH and its subsidiaries, headquartered in Mengerskirchen, on the sale of a majority stake to Elvaston Capital Management. On the seller’s side, the M&A process was accompanied by Konzept AG, Regensburg.

SETEX Group is a globally active family business with a market-leading position and stands for automation expertise in textile finishing. Based in Hesse, Germany, the company is a full-service provider of control systems for textile machine manufacturers as well as planning and production software for textile dyeing and finishing companies.

Elvaston Capital Management is an owner-managed investment company specializing in investments in established mid-sized technology and enterprise software companies with market-leading positions.

Both parties have agreed not to disclose details of the transaction.
