honert advises the shareholders in the sale of FFS Film- und Fernseh-Synchron GmbH to the French movie and TV series synchronization studio Dubbing Brothers

FFS Film- & Fernseh-Synchron GmbH was founded in 1971 by Michael Haacke and runs studios in Munich and Berlin. The company synchronizes movies and TV series and offers all-in-one solutions for editing computer games, trailers, EPC and movie clips. FFS Group is one of the market leaders in the synchronization sector in Germany.
Dubbing Brothers was founded in France in 1989 and is also specialized in the synchronization of movies. In addition, the company offers audio and video services, technical and creative services for multilingual synchronization as well as centralized mixing and subtitling. Dubbing Brothers is currently active in France, Italy, Belgium and the USA.
Dubbing Brothers and FFS Film- & Fernseh-Synchron are regularly engaged by major international movie producers and distributors including Disney, Warner, Sony Pictures and 20th Century Fox.
Both parties have agreed to keep the purchase price confidential. The transaction was completed in March 2019.
